Venture Survivor

Survivor is the toughest and most challenging activity on the Venture calendar. Teams of will be put through their paces as part of a scenario devised by the Survivor Team. Ventures will need to deal with scenarios , complete tasks and overcome any challenge 

Ventact

Ventact is a crazy-fun activity weekend for Rangers, Venture Scouts, and Senior Branch. It’s held in Kilcully Campsite which is just north of the real capital! (Cork) Over the weekend there’s campfires, discos, random games and surprise activities around Cork City and County. Have a look at all of our photos and videos as well as reading up on the event. Ventact is unique as it is the only event of it’s type which is organised by a Joint Committee of Scouts and Guides and sees a gathering of 300-500 young people.

The Venture Sword

The National venture sword is a campcraft competition for the venture section. It is an opportunity for the venture scouts to show off their expert scouting skills, while also upskilling in adventure skills such as pioneering, camping, backwoods, and emergencies. There will be an emphasis on socialising and teamwork. With some ongoing social challenges throughout the weekend.
